For books, I would only accept physical books and audio books.
I've stopped accepting self-published ebooks because I can't really stand reading them in my computer. Do also note that I live outside the US and the UK [I'm in Asia].
I am not a book snob, I try to read all genres as much as possible to explore new worlds and possibilities, but my favourite genres are Historical Fiction, Fantasy, Detective, Paranormal & Mysteries. I do read romance novels and general fiction books. I devour anything you could throw at me and yes, even if I deem the story horrible, I make it a point to finish the book. However, when I finish the book would be the big question :)
