On My Wishlist [the DVD edition] # 1
It's not part of the On My Wishlist posts I do every week but since I need a complete DVD list to look after when I go to the UK [someday, hopefully]
Boyzone: Dublin... Live by Request
-- I had a video CD of this a few years back but now I want a DVD to add to my collection! *sigh*
Product Description from Amazon.com
The boyz perform hits from BY REQUEST live in their home town of Dublin. Songs include: "Going Gets Tough," "One Kiss," "All That I Need," "Love Me for a Reason," "Different Beat," "Words," and more.
The next DVD on the list is a three-disc one:
Boyzone Live and Behind the Scenes.
It contains the DVDs for: Said and Done, Live at the Point and Live at Wembley.
I saw this at HMV when I was in London and it was worth 35 pounds! Eeek! Quite expensive. I didn't get a chance to go back to the store but if I could, I would and I'll get this!! :)
So, that's it for now, will post another batch of my wishlist of DVDs some other time :D

RIP Stephen Gately [1976-2009]
Not a book nor a travel related post. This is something more personal and maybe, music related. I just need an outlet to post my thoughts and feelings about this issue so bear with me.
I got a text from one of my closest friends last Sunday, saying that Stephen Gately of Boyzone just died.
At first I was doubtful that this was true. Boyzone's manager was undeniably the greatest tabloid story maker of all time, going to lengths of exaggerating stories about the artists he manages.
But this time, the stories were true. He did indeed die tragically whilst on holiday in Majorca, Spain. Cause of death was still unknown.

I've seen the rain fall in Africa
I've touched the snow of Alaska
I've felt the mist of Niagara
And now I believe.... in you....

How far we've come
And how far to go
Rain does not fall
On one roof alone
To a different beat.

***will post my reviews of the FOB concert & Cirque du Freak book 1 when I'm in a not-so scatterbrain mood.

Boyzone: Back Again No Matter What Live 2008 DVD
Wheee!!!
I finally got my hands on the live DVD of one of my favourite bands in the world, Boyzone! :)
I watched it for two straight days and it made me reminisce so much about the Boyzone 2008 tour which I was soo blessed and happy to have watched live in London on June 1, 2008.
The DVD was awesome -- the package contains two DVDs -- the first being the concert, the second being a documentary and interview with the lads themselves.
Although not available locally in Manila [I asked a friend to buy me a copy of the DVD when she was in Hong Kong], I highly suggest that fans of this band do get a copy of the DVD. After all, it is Boyzone! And they're finally back after an eight year break. You can order it from amazon.co.uk via the link above.
I am off to watch it one more time over the weekend. I just can't get enough of it! :)
Other DVD lemmings I have:
Live In Chicago
Westlife Live at Croke Park [2008]
'Take That - For The Record - Official Documentary [Amaray] [2006]
updates. updates. updates.
Last Monday, I got myself the remaining three books of the Twilight Series: "New Moon", "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn."
I am a recovering shopaholic/hoarder and I find myself buying all three books at once.
I have a million other books that I haven't read yet and here I am, shopping again. Argh.
Anyway..... soooo freaking happy! Boyzone just released their Greatest Hits DVD last Monday & a new alb as well. Then Take That released a new single on the radio.
I have never been soooo happy :) I love those two bands and I'm soo excited whenever I look at those updates and see those.
Later.. =)
