And so it's 9:37AM here in Manila as I type this. I've just spent 20 minutes trying to connect on my wireless internet. Gaah. Unpredictable internet speed. I've just gone from mass and had my sleep so it's time to start anew. Oh, and it's 10.10.10!
So, gotta complete some mini challenges now:
1. What are you reading right now? The Dust of 100 Dogs by AS King
2. How many books have you read so far? 0. I was asleep from hour 3-9 then went to mass and had bfast. eeep.
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon? The Dust of 100 Dogs!!
4. Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day? Not really, it just so happened that I've no plans for the afternoon and all were done early this morning!
5. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those? Yes! Sleep and mass. Well, I can't really deal with those so I've got to stop reading and just go on with the flow.
6. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far? I fell asleep early!! That was a huge surprise, I was reading after hour 2 last night and was sooo sleepy.
7. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year? Keep it up, its so much fun!
8. What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year? I guess I'd try and read more??
9. Are you getting tired yet? Nope, I just woke up!! =p
10. Do you have any tips for other Readers or Cheerleaders, something you think is working well for you that others may not have discovered? Looks like I need advice more!
1, 2, 3, 4
Hope your book isn’t a bore
5, 6, 7, 8
And your readathon is going great!
As long as you are enjoying your readathon time, that is what is important! Enjoy the rest of it :-) .
You're in the home stretch now. Happy reading :)
I hope you're enjoying D100D! I really liked it.
Don't let the late hour
Make you dour:
Just get up and stretch,
You'll feel the best!
